Today, I present the first of many to come, The Strata Top by one of my favorite indie Pattern designers Sew Liberated. There are a plethora of layering pieces that all seem to work together.

Fabric choice:

I found this grey suiting fabric at a thrift store, but here is a link to a similar type at Fabric.com. This pattern really gives you a chance to showcase a fabric without using much – I used 1 yard.

Pattern Construction:

I mean, come on! Three pieces! Front, back, and neck binding. The sleeves are just turn and sew. There is a lengthen/ shorten line which is helpful because of the curved hem.

The styling possibilities are endless!

Modifications:

I added 2 inches for my 6 foot self as usual.
